School Introduction

The Stratford Chefs School was established as a private, not-for-profit educational institution in 1983. The apprentice training program's strengths and uniqueness derive from the fact that it is the only Canadian culinary institute operated by restaurant professionals. This keeps the curriculum in step with emerging innovations in cuisine and developments in the restaurant business. The program includes practical and theoretical components, supplemented by workshops by internationally renowned guest chefs.
