School Introduction

Il Chiostro offers intensive, hands-on courses in Tuscan cuisine at 2 locations in the Chianti hills outside of Siena.
Spring: Tuscan Country Cooking at an authentic renovated Monastry
Fall: Tuscan Cuisine as part of the Autumn Arts Festival at the Dievole Chianti winery.

Schedule & Fees

Spring - $1,995 for a week.
Fall - $2,995 for 10 days.

Country kitchen and professional winery kitchen.

A passion for cooking.

Faculty

Chef Michael Vignapiano is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and has been with the NY Restaurant School for the past ten years both as an instructor and the Culinary Program Director. He is a Certified Culinary Educator with the American Culinary Federation in which he serves as the Big Apple Chapter president. Past experience includes Windows on the World and the Harvard Club of NYC. He also assists high school students via the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program. He also teaches the popular Food of Naples and Sorrento program in southern Italy in September. This will be Michael`s 12th season at Il Chiostro.
