School Introduction

Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver is a chef owned and designed culinary school. Based on student feedbck and what we know as ex-students, apprentices, professional chefs and experienced chef instructors, we designed our contemporary curriculum from the student's perspective. We offer Professional Chef's training in 2 independent intensive programs: Professional Culinary, Pastry/Bread, and Practicum (12 weeks). Progressive attitude and new restaurant/hotel equipped facilities. All-in-one concept ensuring seamless learning environment; Chef's demonstration station, Chef's table, culinary kitchen and Pastry lab. Cook in groups of 2, change partner weekly. European designed island cooking configuration ensures that you never face a wall. Fully accredited chef instructors, each with broad North American and European experience. accredited with the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of BC (PCTIA).

Professional Culinary, 15 weeks - Domestic Students $6950.00 CAN; International Students $7,950 CAN

Professional Pastry and Bread Making, 15 weeks - Domestic Students $6,950.00 CAN; International Students $7,950 CAN

Practicum, 12 weeks - $975

One Year Professional Culinary & Bread/Pastry Program with practicum - Domestic Students $13,900 CAN; International Students $15,900 CAN

Facilities

2500 sq feet, "all-in-one" concept includes Chef's demo station and Chef's table, island work stations, all hotel/restaurant equipment. Pastry studio, double deck oven, combi oven steamer.
