Situated in prime central locations, Capsicum Culinary Studios offer the most affordable Professional Chef qualifications in South Africa. We are South Africa's largest Private Chef and Hospitality Management Training School with branches in Cape Town, Boksburg, Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Port Elizabeth.

To be successful in this lucrative and rewarding industry, you have to have passion food, coking and hospitality. You have to be able to work under pressure, be creative and have an eye for detail. Capsicum Culinary Studio offers the City & Guilds curriculum, a UK based international course which is recognised in over 100 countries across the world. Our students have the opportunity to work with celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, etc, at the Good Food and Wine Show, an opportunity only extended to Capsicum Culinary Studio students.

Capsicum Culinary Studio guarentees every student who successfully completes their studies, a job placement within the industry. Since we opened our doors in 2003, we've achieved and maintained a phenomenal pass rate of 98.9%.

International Professional Chef Diploma
International Professional Patisserie Diploma
International Professional Chef Certificate
International Advanced Management Diploma
International Professional Hospitality Management Diploma
Entrepreneurship (add-on course to any of the above, or a stand alone, this is not a City & Guilds qualification)

Facilities

We have large airconditioned training kitchens (gas and electric) that are Halaal friendly. Our students have access to a Library and Resource Centre that is equipped with computers and provides internet access. Each of our branches have a dedicated Student Administrator that can assist with any queries our students may have.

Admission Requirements

Grade 10 for the Professional Chef Certificate
Grade 12 for any of the Diploma courses

Faculty

We have a team of 26 highly trained and dedicated lecturers nationally. Each branch has their own unique and experienced lecturers from industry. The team is headed up by the Company Executive Chef, Alfred Henry.
Chef Alfred, previously from Lindt, South Africa, will be imparting his knowledge and skill and training to both the staff and the students.
