700 Kitchen Cooking School is a hands-on personal enrichment school dedicated to bringing entertaining and engaging culinary classes to the home cooking enthusiast. Select from a broad range of classes whose change on a rotating basis throughout the year. Culinary Fundamentals, Art of Entertaining, Baking & Confectionery, and Healthy Cooking are but a few of the class categories offered.
Located within the Mansion on Forsyth Park Hotel in Savannah, GA we are also able to offer guest packages that include cooking classes as well as overnight accomodations, select meals, and other amenities such as our spa and carriage tours of the local historic district.

Classes are all individual single sessions. All regularly scheduled classes are $90 (plus tax) per person.
The hands-on cooking school kitchen features KitchenAid tabletop appliances, Wolf ranges & cooktops as well as SubZero refrigeration
Darin Sehnert, Culinary Director & Chef for 700 Kitchen was raised in southern California where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel & restaurant management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He continued his culinary studies at Johnson & Wales University, Providence, RI., graduating with honors.
Venturing to London, England, he worked at the Criterion Restaurant, an upscale Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of London’s theater district. In 1994 he joined the faculty of the School of Hotel & Restaurant Management at Cal Poly Pomona as chef instructor for The Restaurant at Kellogg Ranch, the university’s student-managed public fine dining restaurant. In addition, he worked with Le Cordon Bleu-Paris conducting summer culinary programs for the public.
Chef Darin joins 700 Kitchen Cooking School from Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. He was chef instructor at the Disney Institute, a resort offering personal enrichment programs, and most recently was sous chef for the main kitchen of the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. He has appeared as a guest chef on the Disney Cruise Line, at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, the TV Food Network, and Home & Garden Television.
