Arte Culinaria is a residential cookery school offering courses of three days or one week. Students stay in our beautifully restored farmhouse, in the rollong hills of the Prosecco wine region, an hour north of Venice. Lessons in the kitchen are fully hands-on, instructive and fun, with a maximum of six students. It is suitable for both beginners and already accomplished cooks. The focus is on the cuisine of the Veneto; its antipasti, homemade pasta, gnocchi, crespelle and risottos, and then its main courses and desserts. Meals are eaten afterwards in beautiful surroundings and are accompanied by local wines of indigenous grape varieties; gems rarely found outside of Italy. Students are also taken to local food-markets, wineries, Palladian villas and beautiful medieval towns. Background Data

Facilities Rustic, charming kitchen modernly equipped. Great views out into the courtyard and to the castle on the hillside. Beautiful dining room with old wooden beams and fire-place. A special place to work and eat. Admission Requirements Enthusiasm and passion for food. Faculty Antonella Tagliapietra is your teacher.
