Organic Tuscany offers week-long "farm to table" organic cooking holidays in the Tuscan hills, between Florence and Siena. We visit local organic and biodynamic farms, meet their owners, eat in their farm restaurants and taste their wines. We teach you how to use their fresh, seasonal produce in traditional Tuscan dishes, both ”cucina povera” (inventive peasant food) and richer fare, including delicate desserts. Two of the courses a year are 100% vegetarian. We have tours and meals in spectacular cities nearby: Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. There are beautiful walks in the area, and you’ll have plenty of time to relax by the pool and drink in the views. Background Data
Schedule & Fees The cooking course price of €1100 is per person and is based on two people sharing an apartment. (This is approximately £740, or US$1400. Check current exchange rates).
Facilities We have a large, fully equipped kitchen which is big enough for 8 people to have room for hands-on preparation and cooking. In addition we have tables outside for preparation, pasta-making etc with a spectacular view of vines and olive trees in the valley below. Admission Requirements None. Beginners as well as experienced cooks are welcome. Faculty Our four instructors are either local chefs who have either owned and/or run restaurant kitchens, or are Tuscan mothers who have lovingly fed their families every day with varied, appetising food.
