School Introduction

After many years working 'front of house' in restaurants and hotels, and completing my degree in Hotel Management, Sioban Baldini fulfilled her dream and became a chef training under one of Australia's most recognized chefs, Neil Perry.
Sioban went on to learn the art of superb Thai food under Martin Boetz of Longrain in Sydney . Longrain has won consecutive awards as best Thai Restaurant since opening in 1999. Following this, she travelled to Italy to live and work in Tuscany and Umbria.

Sioban has designed her cooking schools so that the participants can be hands on. To get the most out of cooking you need to combine all your senses, so Sioban wants everyone to taste, feel, smell, see and listen to the food that you will be producing together. Groups can vary in numbers from 8 to 10 people. You can choose to organise your own group of friends and book a weekend exclusively for yourselves or you can make a booking to join a scheduled cooking school weekend throughout the year. We specialise in Thai and Tuscan cuisine and offer wood fired cooking schools also. Day classes or residential programmes available.
