As in all cultures, those born and raised in the society are the best source of knowledge about the traditions. As a Mexican native, I inherited my Mexican cuisine knowledge from my previous generations. And my passion too. I invite you to join me in tranquility to take out our aprons and spoons, to use the very fresh ingredients of our Mexican cuisine, and create together delicious dishes, with love, tradition and fire. I love sharing my knowledge of traditional home cooking in Mexico, one of the most varied and delicious cuisines in the world.
I take pride in customizing my classes to suit the needs of our students -that don’t have to stick to a fix classes program or calendar-, in my cozy kitchen with its antique Mexican molcajetes and metates. Just contact us to arrange your own class or join an existing group; you can choose a hands-on or a demo class. We offer open custom classes for short stay students or full professional intensive programs.

Our programs are very flexible. We have 4 basic options:
ABC´s of Mexican Cuisine (Salsas & Sauces): This is a 4 day intensive workshop, covering 6 everyday & festive salsas, adobos, pipianes and mole. If you have a limited time available, you can take any one.
Basic Techniques: Learn how to prepare nopales (cactus pads), how capeado (egg-white batter) is used, how to prepare dry and fresh chiles for different dishes, and many other techniques.
Create your own class: Mix and match, make up your own menu. You decide what dishes you want to learn. You can make your selection from the “Classes description” document.
For the Culinary Professional: An intensive and complete option to Mexican cuisine.
Available Classes:
Demonstration group class, open to everybody and can accept up to 10 students. Student hands-on participation is not available here, only attendance to the class. A minimum quantity of students to start a class applies. $55 US dollars per person
Tamales class: This is a hands-on only class; due to it’s nature, and can accept up to 8 students. $70 US dollars per person
Private hands-on class: Up to 6 students. With this option, you can invite the rest of your traveling group at the end of the class to have lunch with you and enjoy the experience -for a small charge-! A minimum quantity of students to start a class applies. $99 US dollars per person; lunch guests: $20 US dollars per person.

We offer a well suited and cozy Mexican Kitchen, where we have space for up to 10 students.
Goups larger than 10 are attended at external beautiful premises
