We offer a full time, 18 month Professional Chef's Course and we are rated by many as the finest training institution in South Africa. Our mission is to train and develop chefs to operate across all sectors of the food industry, predominantly in the culinary arts, but with sufficient instruction and practical experience in food and drink service, as well as management skills, to widen employment opportunities, and ultimately to manage their own business.

Schedule & Fees The fees, for the 18-month course, are currently R89 700per annum (2009 enrolment). The fees cover the full cost of tuition, cost of ingredients used in demonstrations and practice, external lecturers, and examination fees. Items prepared in demonstration are for student consumption
Facilities A key factor that sets the Academy apart from other chefs training institutions is that we have both a fully equipped demonstration kitchen and an award winning, fine dining restaurant on site. Separate facility close by - The Chef's Studio for short courses. Library, herb garden. Admission Requirements A passion for cooking is most important, secondary school education should be completed, but if not, can always be discussed!
