Schedule & Fees Introduction to Macrobiotic Cooking. Learn the basics of Macrobiotic Cooking through this demonstration class held at the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Denver. Several recipes to be prepared and others provides as a preview of what will be learned in future classes. Recipe cards provided. Class is held on June 20, 2009. 11AM-2PM. $40 per person. Facilities I am a full-time Chef Instructor at the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Colorado in Denver. My company has authorized me to hold CookMacro classes on Saturdays in their professional demonstation kitchens. Admission Requirements No official requirements. We are hoping to help people heal who have exhausted other healing avenues and need to hear about Macrobiotics. Faculty The instructors: Ron Schickel, a chef for 23 years, is a Certified Executive Chef & Instructor at the International Culinary School Denver. Bethany Cronk, a passionate student & teacher of healing foods, experienced remarkable healing with Macrobiotics. Ron & Bethany met at culinary school in Paris in 1986, which was to set the stage for their journey in search of healing foods for their own health conditions. By studying the connection between food, environment, and health through the works of environmental medicine doctors like Dr. Sherry Rogers and Dr. William Rea and Kushi Institute experts, the couple has found miraculous balance and rejuvenation with Macrobiotics.
