SA Chefs Academy is owned and run by chefs Garth Strobel and Paul Hartmann. It is the most practically intensive chefs course in the country, where the students are cooking every single day.

Schedule & Fees Full Time Diploma course starts middle of January and ends in November. The program follows the same terms schools. The course is R70,000 ex vat and including uniforms, quality ingredients, equipment and City & Guilds Exam fees.
Facilities Pastry kitchen with 16 work stations, Hot kitchen with 16 work stations, Theory lab, Computer lab, Student room. Admission Requirements Matric or suitable. Faculty Owners and chefs, Garth Stroebel and Paul Hartmann have been at the helm of the ***** Mount Nelson Hotel (Awarded a Top Ten Resturant in the World by US Hotel magazine during their tenure), been crowned World Champions in the Hot Kitchen, Frankfurt 1992, and continually involved with South Africa's participation in international competitions.
