Infinity Culinary TrainingCape Town, South Africa
Founded in 2009, Infinity Culinary Training is a non-profit organization providing culinary skills and job placements for young South African men and women in urgent need of employment. Our students are Cape Town’s greatly impoverished, living in communities often strangled by a lack of education, drug abuse and violent crime. Many of our students have children. ICT’s dedicated teachers and rigorous curriculum provide not just cooking skills, but life skills, hope and a chance for those who have never held a job to support their families. After eight weeks in our kitchen and classroom, and four weeks of a professional internship in a Cape Town restaurant or hotel, our students are prepared to embark upon a sustainable, lifelong career. In order to be considered for enrollment, prospective students must fill out an application (downloadable from our website) and attend two personal interviews. Background Data
