School Introduction

William Angliss Institute of TAFE was founded in 1940 by Sir William Angliss (1865-1957) and is situated in the central business district of Melbourne, Australia. Over 100,000 students have been trained at the Institute in hospitality, tourism, cookery and bakery. The institute has 8 training kitchens including a specialist Asian kitchen, 4 training bakeries and 3 restaurants open to the public. It is registered with the Australian Government to accept international students (CRICOS Provider Code: 01505M). The Institute is also a member of CHRIE (Member ID: 90B022MC).
